Covronavirus (Covid-19) statement.

We are now closed to all new bookings, but we are available for keyworkers and other critical personnel who need accommodation. Where ever possible we will try to provide all current bookings, given the exceptions below.

However as things are changing rapidly this may change, and updates will be via Twitter / Facebook which will then feed directly into our website.

For guests booking via AirBnB we are using their “Extenuating Circumstances” policy.

For bookings made directly with us either by email, phone or via our website.

After considerable research we have decided on the following policy in response to the ongoing situation. If any of the following conditions apply to a booking and the booking is unable to be completed, we will cancel it with out any charge, and refund any payments already received, including deposits.


  • Overseas bookings - If a guests National Government advise against anything but essential travel to UK
  • Overseas bookings - If the UK Government prevents travel form guests home country.
  • UK Bookings - If UK Government places travel restrictions from or to areas of the UK


  • If any member of the group booked is in the “vulnerable” category and advised to self isolate for an extended period
  • If any member of the group booked shows signs of dry cough or fever and are advised to self isolate
  • If any member of the group booked is tested as positive for Covid-19
  • If guests are staying due to attending an event and the event is cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions


  • If the host is obliged to self isolate for a period which coincides with the booking
  • If we are advised that a guest has stayed and has subsequently been tested as positive for Covid-19
  • If UK travel restrictions mean that host will not be able to prepare Trevista due to not being able to travel there
  • If UK Government advises that accommodation providers should close down for a period of time

We will be contacting all current bookings to discuss these matters with them.

We appreciate this is an ongoing situation and modifications to the policy may have to be made on a regular basis. Keep up with the situation on our social media accounts.

We are doing this to keep everybody as safe as possible and in order to do so we may need to change details at short notice.
